Public Meetings of the Woods and Wetlands group of the Sierra Club are held at the Park at Vernon Hills Senior Residence Rainforest. 
It's located in Northeast Illinois, Lake County, in Vernon Hills, at 145 N Milwaukee (21), just S of Rt. 60, and Continental Drive, on the E side (across from CDW). See the map to the right. Park on the S side of the building. Meetings are now at 7:00 p.m., and usually held on the second Thursday of each month. See below for exact dates and topics.

Planning Meetings are open to all members, and are now held at 6:30 p.m. on 1st Thursdays at either a member's home in Libertyville, or at the Caribou Coffee House, 725 N Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, 573-8271 (Near METRA station on Milwaukee Ave.)
