By joining the Club you'll help to protect our planet for our children, you'll get a great monthly magazine, and you will be included in activities of your local group (which we hope is Woods & Wetlands!). You can become a member online with your credit card, or with this printable form with your check or credit card. When you join through the W&W site, a little more of your membership dollars go to local efforts.

Michael Smith's songs have been recorded by dozens of artists in the folk, country, and pop music genres. Sing Out! Magazine calls Michael "one of the few undisputed geniuses among singer-songwriters today." He has been writing for over three decades with songs such as Spoon River, Dead Egyptian Blues, Last Days of Pompeii, I Brought My Father With Me and The Dutchman:

Let us go to the banks of the ocean,
Where the walls rise above the Zuider Zee.
Long a-go, I used to be a young man.
Now dear Margaret remembers that for me.

Choose Sierra Club to benefit from your $15/adult ticket price at the door. Children admitted free. BYOB

W&W Volunteer Opportunities

Your local group is run entirely by local volunteers. Please donate your time and talent to help promote protection and enjoyment of our local environment. Check out the list of open volunteer positions on the Volunteer page..

W&W Financial Support

Don't have time to crack the issues? Our local work relies on money donations from our members directly to the Group. Please consider sending a separate check to support your local Sierra Club Woods & Wetlands Group. We can accept two types of donations.

Non-tax-deductible donations are crucial for running our organization and lobbying our elected officials. Write a check to Sierra Club and indicate Woods & Wetlands in the memo area. Tax-deductible donations can be used only for educational purposes, an important part of our work. Write a check to The Sierra Club Foundation and indicate Woods & Wetlands in the memo area.

By using these coupons, you can send 5% of your grocery bill to the Group without even licking a stamp. Just print out this coupon, and take it with you on your next shopping trip on one of the days on the coupon. Turn it in when you check out, and we get 5% of whatever you pay the cashier. It doesn't cost you an extra dime.
You can make as many copies as you like; you just can't distribute them at the store. So save your expensive purchases for the coupon days, and feel good about spending all that money. Yikes!
