Sun Lake Stewardship, December 2002 !

Before

Facing WSW, on the S edge of farm fields NE of Sun Lake.

We continued working S toward Sun Lake where rare plants are growing.

After

This large area is now cleared of buckthorn.

We'll return to this area to address the Teasel. Its bristle tops rise from a suffocating mat that spreads across the ground.

Before

Facing SSW, on the S edge of farm fields NE of Sun Lake.

After

We've begun clearing a strip wide enough to free the large oaks that border the farm field to the W.
