The SVG will host Springfield native Brendan Hughes' slide show presentation and discussion about the Student Conservation Association (SCA) and its Desert Restoration Corps in California. The SCA mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of our environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land. Mr. Hughes has been a SCA high school crew member, intern, staff member and Project Leader for several years. Call 698-0840 for more information.
