Club Political Affairs
In the coming weeks, Sierra Club members will be receiving ballots for the 2004 Board of Directors election. To help members make informed voting decisions, a website presenting all 17 candidates responses to 14 key questions has been created. It can be accessed here:
This site features enhanced navigation so you can easily see all candidates' answers to a particular question, or all the 14 answers of a particular candidate, or any combination. All answers are limited to 150 words.
The 14 questions were chosen from an email survey of several thousand Club leaders the week of January 26. The Board candidates were invited to respond during the week of February 16. Their answers were not edited other than to ensure the limit of 150 words. When that was required, the candidates were asked to review and approve the shortened versions.
