River Prairie Group Native Plant Sale

Interested in growing plants native to our area?

Plants that don’t need fertilizers and don’t have to be watered all the time!

We are offering a selection of native Illinois plants. Plants will be available for pick-up in late April from either my Glen Ellyn home or early May 2008 at our "Outdoor Native Plant Sale" at Whole Foods in Wheaton as a fund raiser for our group. Last date to place orders will be April 5, 2008.

All plants $2.25 each. 2 or 3 plants of each type are recommended for good germination.

Pictures and additional information about each plant can be found at the following Web site: http://www.inhs.uiuc.edu/~kenr/prairiecommon.html
