 
You're invited to attend our popular afternoon Sierrans Outdoors and Member Open House to socialize and network with fellow active and wannabe participants of outings past and to come. Our location will again be the Cook County Volunteer Resource Center in Edgebrook, near Central and Caldwell Ave. The event begins at 1:00 pm with an optional short walk. A brief What-We-Do and How-To-Get-Involved presentation will be given later afternoon, followed by door prize drawings.
This get-together is a perfect first-time opportunity to learn more about the club, meet leaders, activists and fellow outdoor enthusiasts. Also learn about outings as fun and educational experiences that support Sierra Club's motto: "Explore, enjoy and protect the planet." Requested donation at the door is $5 to be eligible for several door prizes. Participants are also asked to bring a favorite dish of their choosing to share for this potluck tradition.
