View the earliest varieties of wildflowers in this breaking-of-spring hike through the park's scenic sandstone canyons and forests, with grand views of the Illinois River valley. Waterfalls and streams are usually most active this time of year. Hiking about eight miles over moderately hilly terrain, we will do some cleanup along the trails. Wildflowers will be identified and discussed. Limit 25 per hiking group. Leaders are Fred Weber and Mike Davis. Assistant leaders are Joe Pratola and Mike Way. Call Fred at 630-469-6826.
