Annual Shawnee Trash Bash

Date: Friday, October 10, 2008 at TBA
Location: War Bluff Wildlife Sanctuary
Details: This is a service-type outing at Shawnee National Forest, and the base camp will be at War Bluff Wildlife Sanctuary. War Bluff is 500-acre Audubon preserve close to the Ohio River. Folks can gather on Friday night and depart Saturday morning for nearby clean-up sites in the forest. There will opportunities for self-guided tours of War Bluff late afternoon and evening, and a cookout and campfire Saturday night. Sunday will have more opportunities for clean-up or day hikes in the Shawnee. The cost of camping and four meals is $25.
