7:00  Program  Alsek River Rafting and Evidence of Climate Change

Alsek River Rafting and Evidence of Climate Change Steve Bahls, president of Augustana College, and his wife, Jane, have rafted the seven greatest expedition rivers in North America. On the most recent excursion, the Alsek River took them from the Yukon to Glacier Bay in Alaska through Canada'a Kluane National Park and the Wrangell-St. Elias Wilderness. There they saw utterly spectacular mountain scenery--and also considerable evidence of climate change as the glaciers melt away. Their program will combine a photographic tour of this unforgettable region with stories of startling change.
