Last Updated: 12/07/2005 Outings Leader ProfilesThe Eagle View Group conducts outings under the direction and approval of the Outings Chair. Trained leaders must meet group and national training and certification standards in order to conduct safe and exciting outings.There are presently two active, qualified leaders whose pictures and profiles are show below:
 | Holly Johnson is the Eagle View Outings Chair. She works full-time as a paramedic in the Quad Cities. Born and raised there, she acquired her B.S. in psychology and became a social worker. Since acquiring her national license she has been a paramedic for a local ambulance service. She subsequently became certified as a massage therapist. Now, when she's not working as a paramedic she runs her own massage therapy business. In her remaining free time she enjoys backpacking, camping, biking, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, or any other outdoor activities. She has lead numerous local outings and four national Sierra Club service trips in the Midwest.

She lives on the Mississippi in the Quad Cities with Dick, her husband of 45 years, and her sometimes loveable cat, Stinker. Sheri was born and raised in Minnesota, enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing and just being out in nature. Sheri retired from a varied career in advertising, art supply store owner and retail florist 7 years ago. She is on the Advisory Committee for the Master Naturalist Course sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension Office and is a volunteer restoring Nahant Marsh, one of the few remaining urban wetlands of its size on the Upper Mississippi River. In her spare time, Sheri enjoys gardening, specializing in raising organic vegetables, and is licensed and certified as “Outtamigourd” which is her hobby of making everything from birdhouses to holiday ornaments from the gourds she grows in her garden.
