The Marsh Speedwell is an endangered plant in the state of Illinois. As can be gathered from its name, this species grows in wet areas such as marshes, bogs, and wetlands. It can also grow in the moist areas between rocks in wet conditions. It can grow up to almost a foot tall, with a long, winding stem and many slender leaves. It has a few small, blue flowers on small stems branching off of the main stem.
