Family Weekend in the Woods

Enjoy a weekend at Jasmine Hollow along the Sangamon River in Piat County. Tour the wooded 140 acres owned and stewarded by Jim and Mare Payne south of Allerton Park near Monticello, IL. Spring wildflowers will be in bloom and it's possible we might find a morel mushroom or two. Be prepared to pull garlic mustard too, and learn why it is important to control this invasive plant.

There is a cabin for cooking and plenty of space to pitch a tent. Three meals are included: dinner Saturday night and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. The price is $15 per adult, and $8 per child under 15. Registration is required.
